Upon arrival at your chosen 4* location you should make your way to the main Hotel Reception where you will be escorted to your table. Your delicious array of afternoon tea treats will be served to you both and you are free to stay and visit the hotels grounds for as long as you like.

Take a visit to Thoresby Hall Hotel in Nottinghamshire and you can enjoy the history of the house, gardens and parklands, reminiscent of the 18th and 19th Centuries. A visit to Littlecote House Hotel in the Royal county of Berkshire, offers a wealth of history and regency within its grounds, but also in the surrounding area, with a Cromwellian chapel and nearby Roman remains.

Head to Somerset with an afternoon tea at Cricket St. Thomas Hotel and you’ll find a gorgeous 19th Century mansion with glorious mature trees and shrubs in 46 acres of land.

Nidd Hall Hotel, near Harrogate is a short drive from the ruins of one of Britain’s finest Cistercian abbeys and offers its visitors impressive surroundings with even tastier food.

You could of course decide to eat at Holme Lacy House Hotel, a Grade I listed stately home near the Wye Valley, where you can enjoy to the full one of the loveliest parts of rural Britain.

Finally there is Sinah Warren Hotel, a modern location with lovely gardens by the water at Langstone Harbour -delicately poised at the tip of Hampshire’s Hayling Island.

"Afternoon Cream Tea"

Staff at Sinah Warren were very welcoming and helpful. We had an excellent tea with a good selection of fresh sandwiches, scones with jam and cream, homemade cakes and as much tea as we could drink. Not hurried at all.
Downside was trying to book time with Warners, spent a long time trying to get a advisor and eventually had to wait an hour for a call back then a day for hotel to confirm time and date

Perfect day at Thoresby. The only problem was the booking process - I booked through Warners 0800 line on January 21st and was promised postal confirmation. I had to phone again on Thursday 31st as it hadnt arrived. I phone Warners again on Monday 4th February and was told confirmation was in the post but they sent me an email as well. The confirmation arrived (5th Feb) which was the day I was booked in. All too much to handle over a gift!

"Afternoon tea at Littlecote house warners"

Enjoyed the experience. I found the place in need of some refurbishment it all looked a bit tired. The food was very acceptable but nothing special which I was a bit disappointed with. Also for an occasion like this China crockery & cups etc wouly have made a difference. I don’t think the experience stood up to the cost.

"Afternoon Tea at Thorsby Hall"

Was rather disappointed actually, we travelled quite a distance and arrived early it was very cold outside and all the lounges we passed on route were full with no empty seats we went to the tea room and were told to come back so ended up just hanging around we went back just 10 mins early and again were turned away even though there were plenty of empty tables, when food arrived sandwiches were rather bland bread already going stale and cakes were nothing special, have had much better elsewhere
