Enjoy a traditional English outing with this splendid Afternoon Tea for Two at Bovey Castle in Devon. Located in the beautiful Dartmoor National Park, Bovey Castle is a fantastic destination to visit at any time of the year. The stunning country mansion, surrounded by beautiful land and unrivalled scenery, provides the perfect escape to forget about the world for the afternoon.
Warm yourself by a roaring fire in winter, or head onto the sun terrace for magnificent views of the hotel’s gardens in warmer months. You and a lucky friend will enjoy a delicious selection of warm scones with clotted cream and jam, delicate finger sandwiches with a variety of fillings and a sumptuous array of homemade pastries and cakes. All of these mouth-watering treats will be served with your choice of fine tea in china cups. A little bit of luxury that will make for a memorable occasion.
On arrival at Bovey Castle, you’ll be greeted and shown to your pre-booked table where your afternoon tea will be served. Afternoon tea is available in the Great Western or head out onto the South Terrace if the weather is good and you’ll enjoy panoramic views of the entire estate while you dine.

A maximum of 2 vouchers can be used for a booking at one time.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. This is only a guideline and we advise you to book as early as possible to ensure that dates are available before the expiry date listed on your voucher. All bookings are subject to availability.
Afternoon Tea is served between 13.00 and 16.00 Monday to Friday. Please allow 1 hour 30 minutes.
Please note: bookings are not available 21 - 21 December. A supplement, payable direct at the time of booking, will apply for Festive Afternoon Tea in December.
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.

Excellent tea for two with gluten free special. Very windy afternoon & staff had to be called when umbrellas took off! Beforehand the staff had been very attentive but then vanished! Not invited to be shown around which was an opportunity missed.
Lovely setting sat in the sunshine in beautiful surroundings!
Lovely traditional afternoon tea with excellent service, large choice of types of tea, nice sandwiches and many different hand-crafted cakes. They gave us a "doggy box" to take home the last of the cakes. Beautiful hotel and grounds to walk around. A real treat.
We both had a very enjoyable time, the tea the service and the staff were all excellent.
The food was amazing and the location of Bovey Castle was out of this world!
