The two of you can take your seats and soak up the surroundings before being served a traditional afternoon tea. Expect the likes of decadent cakes, fresh scones with clotted cream and strawberry preserve, and delicate finger sandwiches, all piled high on a beautiful tiered cake stand. Top off your spread with a selection of specialty teas and coffee. Perfect for a special occasion or simply spending quality time together, you’re in for a real treat.

What happens on the day?

On arrival at the Bartley Lodge Hotel, you’ll receive a warm welcome from the staff, who’ll show you through to your pre-booked table.

Get ready to feast on an array of dainty savouries, decadent cakes and freshly baked scones with clotted cream and strawberry preserve, washed down with your choice of specialty tea or coffee.

Validity

Your voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of issue, while government restrictions apply in relation to Covid-19 we are offering free extensions on all experiences so you can take your experience when the time is right.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date

Participant guidelines

  • Minimum age: 18
  • The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary

Availability

Your afternoon tea is available to book seven days a week 14.30 to 17.00 throughout the year (excluding Christmas, New Year, Valentine's Day, Easter and all bank holidays).

Please note the hotel will be closed from 14 October 2020 to 1 March 2021.

We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.

Please allow up to 2 hours for the full experience.

What about insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

Please ensure you are familiar with the terms and conditions of the experience.

How it works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
