Located in the award-winning Golden Ball Hotel in Preston, this workshop provides a unique insight into sustainable candle-making as well as teaching you a new skill-set to be used time and time again.
You’ll be greeted by the Cottonwick Candle Co. tutors, who will begin with a short introduction to the best techniques of candle-making, teaching the benefit of artisanal products to promote consistent burning and stronger scent throw. With plenty of helpful tips and one to one tuition thanks to the small class size, you’ll have a go at creating your own 220g candle that will be the perfect addition to your home. There’s also a free raffle prize draw to get your hands on your very own Cottonwick Candle Co. products.

Your voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of issue, while government restrictions apply in relation to Covid-19 we are offering free extensions on all experiences so you can take your experience when the time is right.
What happens on the day?
Arrive 10 minutes early at the Golden Ball Hotel so the workshop can get under way on time. The Cottonwick Candle Co tutor experts will take you step-by-step through the candle-making process.
Learn insider tips and the importance of using sustainable products as you make your own 220g candle worth £25 and handmade greetings card. This workshop runs at the perfect pace for beginners and refreshments will be available at additional cost to fuel the creativity.

The experience is available on selected evenings March to December.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Please allow 2 hours for the workshop but please arrive 10 minutes early.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
How it works
All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
