What happens on the day?

Your 30 minute leisure cruise will set sail from The Groves, Chester.

Cruises depart frequently throughout the day; once aboard, the friendly crew members will collect your voucher, leaving you to relax and enjoy the commentary and scenery as you drift along.

Back on dry land, you can head over to Veeno the Italian Wine Café. Hear about the history of the company, before indulging with a selection of award-winning red and white wines, thoughtfully accompanied by delicious Italian spuntini (appetisers). Finish things off with a glass of dessert wine served with homemade tiramisu.

Participant guidelines

• Minimum age: 18
• The boat has disabled access but please discuss your needs when making your booking
• Veeno Chester has disability access onto premises and disabled toilets
• A discretionary service charge will be added to your bill
• Any additional items not included in the experience will be charged separately on the day of the visit
• The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary 

Availability

Your voucher is valid for 12 months from the issue date.

30 minute River Cruise

The experience is available February to December. Exclusions may apply.

Sailing once an hour between 11.00 and 16.00 daily (17.00 British Summertime) - subject to availability.

Please allow 45 minutes for the full experience (includes waiting time - you are asked to arrive at least 10 minutes before sailing time).

Veeno Chester

The experience is available Sunday to Friday throughout the year.

We recommend you book four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.

Please allow 45 minute for the cruise (includes waiting time - you are asked to arrive at least 10 minutes before your booked time) plus 2 hours for the wine tasting with additional time to travel between the two venues.

What about insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

How it works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
