What happens on the day?

On arrival at Charnwood Forest, you'll be warmly welcomed and meet the experienced team. The watch will kick off with you learning a little about the alpaca babies and birthing before it's time to head out to the fields. The two of you will then meet the proud alpaca mums and gorgeous little crias, with guidance and support throughout from the experienced team.

Participant guidelines

• Minimum age: Under 16's need to be accompanied by a paying adult 
• Children aged 5 and under can visit for free with a paying adult (1 adult - 1 child) 
• Ages 6+ require a ticket 
• This experience includes walking around farm tarcks which may be rough bumpy and muddy and are not suitable for wheelchair, push-chair and walking aid access. 

Availability

Your voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.  Please book and take your experience before the expiry date.

The experience is available - Friday, Saturday and Sunday and weekdays throughout half terms (exclusions may apply) 

We recommend you book at least  4 weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.

Please allow 1 hour for the full experience -  Please arrive 30 minutes before your experience starts

What about insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

How it works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
