The fun doesn’t stop there, as you’ll both have the chance to fill your own 10ml sample bottle of Dalwhinnie Whisky as a souvenir. Drawn straight from the cask, your sample is totally exclusive to the tour and not for sale elsewhere. You’ll also take home a gift box which includes a certificate, tasting glass, Dalwhinnie history timeline and more.

What happens on the day?
You’ll begin your visit with a thorough tour of the Dalwhinnie Distillery, including the Dunnage Warehouse.
Once you’ve explored and seen what goes on behind the scenes of this world-famous distillery, you’ll take your seats in the cooperage tasting room for a tasting of six different whiskies, paired with six matching artisanal chocolates. You’ll then fill your own exclusive 10ml sample bottle of whisky, before receiving your gift box to take home.
Your voucher is valid for 9 months from the date of issue
- Minimum age: 18
- Unfortunately there is no wheelchair access on parts of the tour but it is possible for wheelchair users to take part in the tasting
- Dalwhinnie reserves the right to deny anyone a tour if they are in a state unable to partake in the tour safely
- The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary
The experience can be booked seven days a week throughout the year. Exclusions including 25, 26 December and 1 and 2 January will apply.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Please allow up to 2 hours for the full experience. Please arrive promptly as latecomers will not be guaranteed access to the tour.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
How it works
All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
