What happens on the day?

On arrival at Colwith Farm Gin and Vodka Distillery, you’ll enjoy a welcome Stafford’s Cornish Dry G&T each. Your host will take you on a step-by-step tour of the unique working distillery. You’ll learn how they prepare the mash, distil (several times), rectify gin and hand-bottle their spirits.

As you explore, you’ll be able to taste, smell and touch potato wine, low wines, Cornish base spirit and botanicals. After the distillery tour, the two of you will take your seats for a delicious tutored tasting of three vodkas (one of which won a Silver in Best Vodka in the World) and three gins. Complimentary mixers will be provided. After your tasting, you can enjoy a £5 discount in the distillery on any purchases you make over £30.

Participant guidelines

• Minimum age: 18
• Children can accompany participant free of charge but must be supervised at all times
• Drivers can take a 5cl bottle from the shop in lieu of samples
• The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary

Availability

The experience is available on selected Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

We recommend you book at least two weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.

Please allow 1 hour 30 minutes for the tour with additional time to spend in the distillery shop.

What about insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

How it works
