Spend the day in a 14 acre field in a stunning rural location whilst making new friends with this Family Alpaca Picnics, courtesy of Frankly Alpacas.
The day will begin with a quick health and safety briefing, before it’s time to meet the alpacas. The team will make the introductions and tell you all about their individual quirks. Heading to the dedicated picnic area, you can get set up on a bench or bring a rug for a more rustic experience. With the alpacas roaming around you, tuck into your picnic and soak up the breath-taking panoramic views across the unspoilt Shropshire countryside.
Once you’ve finished your picnic, you’ll be provided with a feed bucket for the alpacas, who will be brought into the picnic area. Bond with your new alpaca friends, feed them and make the most of all the photo opportunities. Throughout your 90 minute session, you can ask the friendly team all of your questions before they give you a final debrief.

What happens on the day?
On arrival, you’ll be warmly welcomed by the team who will talk you through health and safety practices. Then, you’ll be introduced to the alpacas and learn all about them. Next, you’ll get set up on a bench or a rug as you tuck into a picnic whilst surrounded by the alpacas. Once you’ve finished, the team will give you food for the alpacas to feed them as well as the opportunity to take photos and bond with them. During your experience, you can ask any questions before the alpacas return to their field and you’re given a final debrief before setting off home.

- All children must be accompanied by an adult

Availability
Your voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Please book and take your experience before the expiry date.
This experience is available Saturday and Sundays at 12:00, 14:00 and 16:00 (Exclusions may apply)
We recommend you book at least 4 weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Please allow up to 2 hours for the full experience.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

How it works
All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
