With a short briefing on the simulators and tips on ensuring you get the most fun from your experience, put your Historic Single Seater through its paces for 30 minutes of adrenaline-filled driving.

Feel free to practice and race in the Historic Single Seater race car, racetrack, and conditions of your choice! With the latest FIA Licensed D-Box Haptic suspension, you’ll experience every bump, curb, oversteer and understeer. Get to grips with the controls as you qualify for your place on the grid.

What happens on the day?

On arrival at SIM Motorsport Race Centre, you’ll need to register before receiving a short briefing from a Race Controller, which includes an introduction to the controls on the simulator and details on how the event will be run. You’ll then be shown your race car simulator for a 30-minute session. Use this time to learn how to handle your Historic Single Seater race car and get to grips with the controls as you qualify for your place on the grid. Refreshments are available at their trackside suite, including a licensed bar.

Validity

Your voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of issue, while government restrictions apply in relation to Covid-19 we are offering free extensions on all experiences so you can take your experience when the time is right.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date

Participant guidelines

  • We recommend that you must be able to reach the pedals in a small car or have driven a Go Kart as the simulators are the same as a race car chassis, so  the ability to use race brakes, heavy steering and reach the pedals is essential

Availability

The experience is available Wednesday to Sunday, between 12.00 and 18.00. Exclusions may apply.

We recommend that you book at least six to eight weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available.  All bookings are subject to availability.

Please allow 45 minutes for the full experience, with 30 minutes for the simulator driving and 15 minutes for the briefing.

What about insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

How it works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
