What happens on the day?

On arrival at York Cocoa Works, the two of you will be warmly welcomed by the team ready for your hands-on workshop. You’ll discover the basics of chocolate making including how to work with it, make ganache and professionally temper it before putting your new-found knowledge to the test creating your own chocolate truffles.

You’ll each take home approximately 300g of your own, beautifully wrapped, chocolate creations, alongside a host of recipes and newly-found chocolate making skills.

• Minimum age: 6 (under 13s must be accompanied by a paying adult)
• The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary

Availability

Your voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.  Please book and take your experience before the expiry date.

The experience takes place on the first Sunday of the month throughout the year. Exclusions may apply.

We recommend you book at least one week in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.

Please allow 3 hours for the full experience.

What about insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

How it works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
