What happens on the day?

On arrival at the centre, you will join your small group for an introduction and full briefing from your qualified instructor, including safety procedures and driving techniques.

As part of a small group, you will be allocated a car for the session. You’ll learn from your instructor how to use the controls of a rally car before heading out onto a dirt track to take it in turns with the other participants to experience driving. At the end of your drive, you will receive a de-briefing session before departing.

Please note that driving times vary according to location but you will usually experience two separate stints behind the wheel.

Participant guidelines

• Minimum age: 12 All participants require parental/guardian consent
• Maximum age: 16
• Minimum height: 4ft 10in 
• Maximum height: 6ft 4in
• Maximum weight: 17 stone 
• Participants should be in reasonable health and able to climb in and out of the vehicle
• Spectators are usually welcome, however at some venues there may be small charge. Please contact your chosen centre when booking for more information. Facilities vary according to location but there are usually refreshments available on site
• The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary according to location
• The centres contracted with us hold public indemnity liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover.
  Some driving operators require customers to complete an Indemnity/Damage waiver form on the day of the experience.  This may state that the driver will be liable for a fixed amount of costs should they damage the vehicle whilst driving.  Most of these suppliers are able to provide Indemnity/Damage Waiver at a small additional fee (usually £20-£45) payable on site.  The purchase of this is optional and is in addition to the Public Liability Insurance held by all venues.  The full details of any indemnity or damage waiver will be provided by the activity operator.  We are unable to advise or comment on the content or suitability of these products.

Availability

This experience is available on selected dates throughout the school holidays, subject to availability. These dates vary according to location. Please contact your chosen centre when booking for updated availability.

We recommend you book at least four to six weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.

Please allow up to 3 hours for your visit. Driving times will vary depending on location.

How it works
