Code: PLAMAT 12 month validity Northamptonshire - Towcester 2 people

You can now take a walk in the countryside like never before… with a llama for company! Discover and enjoy the pleasant sites of the Northamptonshire countryside whilst leading a gentle llama along bridleways and country lanes.

Llamas are intelligent animals, who often live in large herds and take care of each other as a family would. They are curious and quite interactive so you will have a few laughs along your 3.5 mile journey together. You may not ride the animal but they are strong enough to carry your water bottles and raincoats, making your trek lighter. Add a unique touch to de-stressing and take a stroll with a llama.

What's Included?

  • llama introduction
  • Instruction on handling
  • 3.5 mile Trek across Northamptonshire countryside – one llama between two people
  • Photo opportunities
  • Visit the mother and baby llamas
  • Experience gift pack including personalised voucher and message card

What happens on the day?

Upon arrival you will be given an interesting talk about llamas followed by instructions on handling these lovely animals. It will then be time to meet your furry friend for your trek.

The trek will lead you across approximately 3.5 miles of beautiful Northamptonshire country as you pass arable, pasture and woodland with your llama by your side. Once back at the farm you will be invited to visit the mother and baby llamas and to view Catanger’s very own llama fibre gifts and South American goodies in the ‘Llamarabilia’ gift shop.

"An exciting experience with Quinn"

It was a lovely Trek with Quinn, he was so soft and gentle and loved being stroked .Although the weather started off wet ,it did not spoil the enjoyment of the experience.
The trek was a good couple of hours, however the time flew by.
Our guide (Abbie)was very knowledgeable and spent lots of time with each of us.

"A great Llama drama"

The llama trekking was excellent. Sarah, who took us on the trek was extremely friendly, very knowledgeable and enthusiastic, doing everything to ensure everyone had a good time. The set up was good, from the welcome chat, the countryside and the time spent with the llamas, and being able to visit the moms/baby llamas on the farm when we returned. Nothing was too much trouble. Couldn't fault it.

"Fun and different experience"

We received the 'llama trekking for two' voucher as a wedding gift, so we weren't sure what to expect - but we had a great time! We learned a lot about llamas, and spent two hours walking through gorgeous countryside with them. The llamas themselves were real characters and it was great to meet so many (you get to meet all the mums and babies after the trek). Sarah the manager (?) was a fabulous guide and it was clear the llamas are very well cared for.

We had a really enjoyable time trekking with our Llama. Very well organised with the opportunity to see and photograph the baby Llamas after your trek.

"Lovin' the llamas"

Even though my wife currently has a blood clot that means she cannot walk, we went to Catanger Llamas anyway and found it delightful, despite having to sit out the trek. The place is lovely, the people are great, and if you don't leave with a deep desire to have a couple of llamas in your garden, there's something wrong with your head!
