Brought to you by the award-winning company Highland Safaris, you’ll discover the incredible wildlife and nature of the loch from your viewpoint in a modern, custom built cabin RIB. Home to various species of wildlife, as well as beautiful views, this magnificent stretch of water is the largest loch in Perthshire and one of the deepest in Scotland.

Engaging commentary from the boat’s crew will take you on a journey through the loch’s heritage and folklore, and the boat’s versatility means you’ll be getting up close to some of the loch’s most inaccessible spots. Surrounded by panoramic sights of the Scottish Highlands, it’s guaranteed to be an awe-inspiring day out on the water.

What happens on the day?

On the day of your pre-booked cruise, make sure to arrive no later than 15 minutes before the boat sets off.

Once aboard, you’ll be taken on an unforgettable journey around the stunning Loch Tay, reaching little-seen places that are usually too inaccessible to reach. From the 5* cabin, the boat’s crew will give you the lowdown on Perthshire’s largest loch, including its fascinating history and captivating folklore.

Validity

Your voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of issue, while government restrictions apply in relation to Covid-19 we are offering free extensions on all experiences so you can take your experience when the time is right.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date

Availability

Your voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

The experience can be booked seven days a week from April to the end of October, subject to availability.

Tours run at the following times:
10.00 to 11.30
12.00 to 13.30
14.00 to 15.30
16.00 to 17.30 (July and August only)
18.00 to 19.30 (July and August only)

We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.

Please allow 1 hour 30 minutes for the full experience.

What about insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
