Got a penchant for patisserie? Make your way to the glamorous Cake Boy boutique for a Mini Chocolat masterclass, topped off with a contemporary French afternoon tea for Two.

Located in the award-winning Battersea Reach, right on the riverside, you’ll both craft a marvellous Valrhona chocolate and raspberry Torte and a dozen hazelnut truffles in Eric Lanlard’s acclaimed kitchen. Get creative as you recreate Eric’s legendary Valrhona chocolate & raspberry ganache torte and a dozen Hazelnut praline truffles to take home and enjoy.

Your hands-on experience will be followed by a divine afternoon tea. Sit back, relax and sample a selection of filled petit pains, fine mini pastries, French macaroons, fruit tarts and gourmet shots. Enjoy a glass of Champagne with your treats, along with a choice of tea, coffee and speciality hot drinks.

  • One Valrhona chocolate and Raspberry torte and 12 Hazelnut praline truffles to decorate and take home to enjoy

What happens on the day?

You will both arrive at the Cake Boy boutique at 09.00 to begin your Mini Chocolat Class. Recreate and decorate Eric’s Valrhona chocolate & raspberry torte and a dozen truffles.

Tea and coffee are provided on arrival, and after the class, when your gorgeous creations are boxed up and ready to take home, you can sit back and relax to be served your wonderful afternoon tea. Tuck into a selection of filled petit pains and fine mini pastries, including French macaroons, fruit tarts and gourmet shots, washed down with Champagne.

Validity

Your voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of issue, while government restrictions apply in relation to Covid-19 we are offering free extensions on all experiences so you can take your experience when the time is right.

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date

Availability

Available on selected Saturdays throughout the year. Date restrictions may apply.

We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.

Please allow approximately 6 hours for the whole experience.

What about insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

Please ensure you are familiar with the terms and conditions of the experience.

How it works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
