Your home for the night will be the Grade 1 listed Hallmark Hotel, located on the fringe of 200 leafy acres of Sefton Park. A stone’s throw from the city’s buzzing restaurants, culture and nightlife, the hotel provides an oasis of calm for you to enjoy the best of both worlds. In the evening, tuck into a three-course meal in the hotel’s dining room, and following a restful night’s sleep, a delicious breakfast to set you up for the day ahead.
Wander through galleries, exhibitions and over 600 artefacts to discover 70 years of Britain’s music scene, from its 1945 jazz roots through to the present day. You’ll witness collection pieces like Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust costumes and Noel Gallagher’s Union Jack Sheraton guitar. There’s an area of Gibson guitars for some on-the-spot playing, with drums and keyboards, should you fancy creating an impromptu two-piece. Dance the Decades, watch holographic performances and get interactive – it’s time to revel in the soundtrack of our nation’s history!

What happens on the day?
On arrival at Hallmark Hotel Liverpool Sefton Park, you’ll be warmly welcomed and shown to your room for the night. Once checked in, you’re free to spend your time as you please. Enjoy a delicious three-course dinner in the evening, and a continental or full English breakfast following a restful night’s sleep.
Head to Liverpool’s Cunard Building for an unforgettable British Music Experience. Check in at reception and pick up your audio guide before heading through the numerous galleries, exhibitions and interactive bits.
Your voucher is valid for 9 months from the date of issue

- British Music Experience:
The circulation space within the building is fully accessible for wheelchairs. The BME have a number of wheelchairs which can be reserved on request
The BME is designed to be a multi -sensory exhibition and is a self-guided experience however audio guides are available, with printed versions of the audio guide available on request. These can be sent out via email or by post, if requested. Hearing Dogs are welcome
An audio-described audio guide is provided free of charge to visitors who are blind or partially sighted. These guides can be collected at Visitor Services. Guide Dogs are welcome
The entrance at Pier Head opposite the Ferry Terminal has two sets of stone steps, the first set has eight steps and then a landing area, the next set has six steps and then level access into an entrance porch. The access door into the reception area is to your right hand side. There are then 3 marble steps to the main ticketing and entrance area
This entrance is on Brunswick Street is wheelchair accessible. On arrival you will see a ramp and on the door is an intercom, please use this and a member of the BME team will come down, welcome you to the building and assist you

Your one night stay is available seven days a week, subject to availability. Please be aware that during weekends and summer months the availability may be limited.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
The British Music Experience
This visit is available seven days a week until October 2018. From 1 October 2018 to 31 March 2019, the availability is Wednesday to Sunday. All bookings are subject to availability.
Last entry is 90 minutes before closing. The opening hours are 10.00 to 17.00.
Please note: The British Music Experience will be closed all day on Friday 3 May, Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 July and Thursday 5 September 2019. They will also be closing early on Friday 1 February 2019, with last entry at 14.30.
Your experience will be for one night. Check into the hotel will be after 15.00 and departure by 11.00 the following morning. Please allow at least 1 hour 30 minutes to enjoy your vist to the British Music Experience.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
How it works
All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
