Get out on the waters and try something new with a stand-up paddleboarding experience.

Aimed at complete novices and those with only a small amount of Paddleboarding experience, you’ll cover all the basics of a sport that’s easier to get the hang of than the likes of surfing or kitesurfing.

Your BSUPA fully qualified instructor will be on hand to teach you all the skills you need to know to get the most of out of your introductory session. Everything you need will be ready for you on the day, so simply show up and enjoy the fun and fresh air.

What happens on the day?

On arrival at the Kite Surf Centre, you’ll be met your instructor and get kitted out in your wetsuits before a brief theory and safety overview.

Once you’ve taken to the water, you’ll cover the basics of paddling techniques, stance and balance before moving onto paddle style and board control with steering.

Validity

Your voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of issue, while government restrictions apply in relation to Covid-19 we are offering free extensions on all experiences so you can take your experience when the time is right.

Participant guidelines

Minimum age: 8 (Under 18s must be accompanied by a full paying adult
All participants must be able to swim a minimum of 50m
The course is aimed at total beginners but if doesn't matter if the participants have some previous experience
The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary

Availability

Your voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

The experience is available on selected dates from April to October, subject to availability.

We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.

What about insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
