This Thames Rockets Speed Boat Voyage is an exhilarating and unique way to experience the Thames. Skim across the surface, taking in the sights, sounds and stories the river has to offer aboard this purpose built Rigid Inflatable Boat (and the Visit England’s ‘Family Friendly Attraction of the Year’ for 2017/18!).
At up to 35 knots you will speed through London, you can enjoy speedboat sightseeing at its very best. Whatever the weather you will be able to enjoy the ride and waterproof clothing is provided. This wild voyage is suitable for all ages and is a fantastic ‘must do’ experience that you will not be forgetting in a hurry. Listen in to the expert tour guide on board with you and learn a few things you maybe didn’t know about the big city landmarks and this famous river. Why would you want to view the sights any other way?

What happens on the day?

You’ll be greeted by a member of staff, receive a quick briefing and be handed any safety gear you may need. With an expert guide on board you will cruise over the water with speed and style whilst taking in the most popular sights of London.

Journey under the amazing Thames Bridges and explore parts of the river inaccessible to other boats.  Along the way you will see an array of London landmarks, so don’t forget your camera.


Your voucher is valid for 9 months from the date of issue

Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date

Participant guidelines

  • Children under 14 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian
  • If you have an existing medical condition which may be affected by this experience then you must consult your doctor before taking part.  Boats can encounter unpredictable movement that can aggravate existing medical conditions
  • Without exception, expectant mothers are not permitted on board at any stage of their pregnancy
  • The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary 


Voyages run seven days a week March to October and Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday during winter. Availability is restricted to 11.00 only on Saturday and Sunday. 

We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.

The experience lasts approximately 50 minutes on the water, however you should allow up to 1 hour 30 minutes for the whole experience.

What about insurance?

The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.

How it works

All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
