Delve into a world of chocolate wonders as you head to Melt, in the heart of Notting Hill, for a Masterclass for One.
Join Melt chocolatiers as you learn to make your own ganache, temper chocolate, enrobe your bonbons and oversee the whole chocolate making process from bean-to-bar. With the best ingredients and expert tutors, you’ll go through the various stages including sorting, roasting and piping to create your very own chocolate bar.
Throughout the class, you’ll be able to taste the chocolate to see how the flavours evolve as well as discover its rich history, including the source of cocoa. And to satisfy your sweet cravings beyond the class, take home three hand-wrapped bars, a box of 10 Bonbons and 10 Pralines.

What happens on the day?
Upon arrival to the Melt HQ in Notting Hill, you’ll be warmly welcomed by the expert chocolatiers. You’ll then learn insider tips involved in the chocolate making process, before discovering the history of the classic sweet treat. You’ll be provided with all the equipment for the day and take home 3 45g bars hand wrapped and a box of 10 Bonbons and 10 pralines.
Participant guidelines
- Minimum age 16 (under 18's need to be accompanied by a paying adult)
- Maximum group size of 6
- Access to the class is via three steps down into the kitchen
- The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary
Availability
Please make a note of the expiry date on your voucher - your experience must be booked and taken by this date.
The experience is available Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays throughout the year. Exclusions may apply.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
Please allow 3 hours 30 minutes for the full experience.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.

How it works
All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
