Chapel Down produces a world-class collection of sparkling and still wines, together with an award-winning array of beers and ciders. Sparkling Wines are created using the traditional method from fruit sourced from Chapel Down’s very own and partner vineyards across the South East of England, and together you can sample the delicious end product.
With this Vineyard Tour and Tasting, you’re set to be educated and entertained by your knowledgeable guide who will take you out into the vineyards and then into the state-of-the-art winery. In the vineyards, you’ll discover the essential role of the English climate in cultivating a fruit that is distinct and packed with flavour. In the winery, you can see the ins and outs of the winemaking process from grape to bottle and the intricate traditional method used to create superb sparkling wines.
By now, all this exciting new knowledge will have probably made you thirsty. Luckily, you can complete this special experience in style with a tutored tasting of Chapel Down’s acclaimed range of wines.

What happens on the day?
On arrival at the Chapel Down Winery you will be greeted by your tour guide who will take you into the vineyards and the state of the art winery where the winemaking process from grape to glass will be explained.
Following this will be a tutored wine tasting of 6 to 7 wines.

Tours are run daily from April to November and weekends in February and March. Booking is essential. Date restrictions may apply.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. If you are looking for Weekend availability we recommend you book four months in advance. All bookings are subject to availability.
Please allow approximately 2 hours for the whole experience.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
How it works
All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
