An experience for lovers of ceramics, design and English heritage or those looking for an insight into the world famous Wedgwood brand, this Wedgwood Ceramic Experience and Afternoon Tea for Two will get you to the heart of high-class pottery making with a tour and a session of hands-on crafting.

You’ll see the Wedgwood factory process up close as pieces are made by hand before being fired in the kiln, ready to be finished with the skill of master crafters. Moving from present to past you’ll learn about founder Josiah Wedgwood in the museum, and afterwards you’ll take part in a tea tasting along with a delicious afternoon tea in the Wedgwood Tea Room.

Your hand-made creation will be fired and sent to your home, ready to take pride of place. There's also the chance to design and create your very own Wedgwood plate.

"Great Pottery Experience"

Thoroughly enjoyed our Wedgewood experience. Very friendly and helpful staff, made two small pots and designed two plates.
Would definitely return.

"Amazing day out"

This was an excellent day, you schedule the components of your day to suit you when you arrive.
We started with coffee, then throwing your own pot, then the guided tour of the factory. This was so interesting we did it again on our own, before enjoying our afternoon tea and tea tasting. Then we did our own plate design and ended the day wandering around the fascinating museum. The whole day took a leisurely six hours and was wonderful. All the staff were attentive & knowledgeable.

"Great Value for money"

I took my wife to this for a treat on our 2nd wedding anniversary. She (and I) absolutely loved it. All the staff were warm and friendly and there was so much to do for the whole day it really was great value for money. We decorated out own plates made our own vases on a porters wheel had afternoon tea (really lavish) had a guided tour around the the working factory looked around the museum plus many other things all inclusive of the cost. Value for money was outstanding. Highly recommended

"An environment of so many delights!"

The Wedgwood campus, modern, well- designed is tranquil and welcoming. The receptionist greeted us with a warmth and professionalism that seemed to be the trademark of all staff. Each component of the day had its own fascination. On the the factory tour one learns so much and stands in awe of such adroit skill. Making a pot & a plate design are both great fun and create lasting mementos. It was a tasty lunch and the museum is full of beauty & history.
Amazing value for the pocket & the senses
